Introba (formerly Integral Group) is excited to continue its partnership with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), driving the carbon conversation in Australia. Since 2018, the firm has been proud supporters and advocates of GBCA’s Carbon Positive Roadmap, and is thrilled to continue its support.

As founding signatories of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC)’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment, Introba challenged itself to advance climate action by setting ambitious targets and encouraging and supporting clients to eliminate operational carbon emissions from their building portfolios by 2030. The firm achieved Scopes 1 and 2 for the Commitment in May and is now setting sights on Scope 3 and beyond.

Principal Mary Casey recently sat with GBCA CEO Davina Rooney as part of the Carbon Leader Series. They touched on the changing attitudes of clients in the wake of COP26, how Introba is helping organizations look at their purpose, in what ways they can positively impact climate change, and how the industry is beginning to understand its role in ecosystems.
