Introba is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire engineering, fire protection, technology, and sustainability consulting services for Bendigo Law Courts in Bendigo, VIC, Australia.

In support of the revitalization of the city of Bendigo, Australia, the Bendigo Law Courts provide a new regional court precinct for the Loddon Mallee district. The design incorporates the culture and knowledge of the traditional owners, the Dja Dja Wuurung people, making the court a statement of reconciliation.

These courts will be the first to include multiple specialist courts on one site and the first children’s court in regional Victoria. Courtrooms will feature state-of-the-art technologies that will allow remote hearings, digital evidence display, video conferencing, and live streaming.

The building is designed for Net Zero Carbon emissions, minimizing its carbon footprint by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as solar panels, efficient HVAC systems, and intelligent lighting controls while optimizing operational efficiency. By harnessing renewable energy sources and adopting energy-saving measures, the Law Courts set a precedent for sustainable building practices in the legal sector in Australia.
