Camberwell Library
This project involves creating a new 7,500 ft² public library in the London Borough of Southwark.
The development includes a double-height library space, a dedicated children’s library area, a mezzanine space, a multiuse group room, customer contact facilities, and staff rooms. This project is targeting BREEAM Very Good.
Introba (formerly Elementa Consulting) is undertaking the library’s mechanical, electrical, public health, and sustainable strategies. Sustainable elements of the project include using a fabric-first approach and a sedum roof. Introba has also provided energy strategy reports, overheating analyses, and natural and mechanical ventilation options papers.
