Spa Park | Southwark

The brief from the London Borough of Southwark called for the rejuvenation of this neglected space to create an amenity appropriate to the local community’s needs. The redevelopment includes new paths, plants, lighting, bins, benches, play equipment, signage, and a new Sure Start building. The Sure Start building provides a community leisure center with separate facilities for under 5-year-olds and 5-15-year-olds.

Introba (formerly Elementa Consulting) provided engineering design of all building services, including DiaLux modeling of the park and buildings’ lighting, small power, and data distribution.

We designed the park lighting to be energy efficient and suitably robust for regenerating this neglected site. Introba developed the scheme from RIBA stage A to L, including obtaining all approvals from local authorities.
