Dr Dorte Rich Jørgensen Appointed to NLA's Net Zero Expert Panel for Another Year
Dr Dorte Rich Jørgensen has been welcomed back by New London Architecture for another year to be part of their Net Zero Expert Panel.
NLA Expert Panels bring together industry experts from across the NLA membership to advise on our core programmes, provide thought-leadership on design, development, and construction in London and respond to new policies or consultations.
The Nero Zero panel focuses on understanding the priorities for London to achieve Net Zero, and the role that the built environment has to play in meeting this target. Topics of focus will include London and local leadership, adaptability and flexibility of building stock, resilience and green infrastructure, and prioritising a green recovery for London.
Dorte stated “The need to address the climate change emergency is essential. Providing the built environment with the guidance and tools to strategically map new and existing buildings on a path to net zero is vital. I am excited about using my experience to facilitate climate challenge solutions and feel privileged to be collaborating with the other experts on the panel to do this. Accelerating solutions for this, including the consideration of multiple stakeholders who will be involved on this journey, must be at the core of what we promote going forward. ”
