Our Light Studio team in Canada has another big feather in its cap. They were delighted to pick up two prestigious Awards of Merit recently from the Illuminating Engineering Society, a leading technical and educational authority around the world for more than 100 years on the lighted environment. This was the 50th anniversary of the IES Awards, which were presented during the 2023 Conference.

The Light Studio team's two successful submissions were:

  • Outdoor Lighting category: The Three Watchmen, in front of the Audain Art Museum in Whistler, B.C.

  • Indoor Lighting category: Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre Lecture Theatre Renovation in Vancouver, B.C.
