Neutral Host Cellular DAS & WiFi-6 WLAN at Long Island Railroad Pennsylvania Station
Introba provided professional engineering design services for a state-of-the-art WiFi-6 WLAN Commercial Cellular DAS and WiFi-6 System throughout the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) of New York’s Pennsylvania Station LIRR Concourse and Platform areas. As part of the $414 million renovation of Pennsylvania Station’s Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Concourse, the new DAS provides 5G commercial cellular and Wifi-6 enhancing the commuting experience for the 600,000 passengers that utilize LIRR’s 33rd Street corridor and platforms daily.
