Andy Stanton, our Senior Principal and Head of Sustainability in the UK and Europe, recently appeared on LDN Collective’s Collectively Speaking podcast to discuss his and Introba’s passion for sustainability.

LDN Collective is a UK-based network of experts and creatives in the built environment who are looking for sustainable answers to help communities and the planet. Members include people from engineering, architecture, zero carbon, social impact, graphic design, and filmmaking.

The LDN Collective podcast series explores the big issues and opportunities in the built environment through interviews conducted by Max Farrell, its Founder and CEO.

Andy discussed how he found his love for engineering and sustainability in his teenage years, which has opened doors for him to work on many high-profile projects across London, including a long spell at Transport for London. Throughout the interview, he demonstrated how sustainability is at the heart of Introba’s work, from consulting and programs to the suite of engineering services.

In the past two years in the United Kingdom and Europe, the pace of legislative change around sustainability and construction has accelerated rapidly, forcing developers to rethink how they approach projects. Andy cited how changes in parametric modeling can now help the design process at an early stage in many clever ways. We are now “seeing building physics help make beautiful buildings”.
