Active Shooter Response and Recovery Plan and Training I St. Louis Lambert International Airport
Introba delivered specialized emergency preparedness consulting services for St. Louis Lambert International Airport, focusing on assessing active shooter risks and crafting an Active Shooter Response and Recovery Plan (ASRRP).
Collaborating closely with airport stakeholders through facilitated workshops, including executive leadership, law enforcement, and emergency management, we identified resources, procedures, and concerns to inform the plan.
We established an organizational structure and procedures within the ASRRP through stakeholder engagement and defining roles and responsibilities. Drawing on workshop insights and research, we developed phased recovery approaches, communication protocols for passengers and employees, and structures for the Incident Command System (ICS) and Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
Additionally, Introba conducted a targeted security risk assessment to address active shooter threats, pinpointing physical security measures and procedural enhancements. Complementing these efforts, our HSEEP training equipped airport personnel with the tools to plan, execute, and evaluate emergency exercises, enhancing preparedness for various scenarios.
