Qiddya Entertainment City
Our team will provide security and intelligent transportation system services for the Qiddya Entertainment City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Qiddiya is approximately 45 kilometers from the center of Riyadh. It is expected to be the world’s largest entertainment city by 2030, with a total area of 334 square kilometers. The project targets both local and international tourists and will be Saudi Arabia’s preeminent entertainment, sports, and cultural destination that embodies the Saudi identity.
When completed, the city will include theme parks; entertainment centers; sports amenities and arenas; training academies; motorsports; water-based recreation; outdoor and adventure activities; nature and safari experiences; and a wide variety of historical, cultural, and educational activities and events.
Our team was engaged to provide Security Consulting and Systems Engineering design for Security and Intelligent Transportation Systems for the Infrastructure Master Planning scope of the Project. Services included the development of Security All-Hazards Risk Assessments, Security Concept of Operations, and the design of Security Systems; specifically, Video Surveillance System, Vehicle Screening Systems, Cargo Screening Systems, Guard Tour System, Perimeter Intrusion Detection System, and Mechanical Vehicle Barriers.
The ITS services will include several innovative technologies and systems including smart parking, intelligent traffic management, traffic sensing and prediction, smart vehicle pooling, smart intermodal public transit, smart infrastructure control, and autonomous vehicles.
