We provided mechanical, electrical, fire engineering, and sustainability advisory services for this central London project in the UK.

This project, which was part of Soho Estates' flagship office development, embraced eco-friendly technology for heating and cooling by featuring ground-source heat pumps and air-source heat pumps.

We deployed a Variable Air Volume (VAV) system throughout, bolstered by strategically placed carbon dioxide sensors for real-time air quality and temperature adjustments, which enhanced both comfort and energy efficiency.

Safety was paramount. We integrated stringent fire safety measures, including staircase design and fire strategy development. At the same time, we paid careful attention to detail for exposed services, encompassing precise alignment, tidy insulation, and placement of cable trays, wiring, and ductwork to ensure a visually appealing interior.

Innovative lighting was introduced with a raceway system, creating gentle curves along the ceiling to enhance the space’s distinctive ambiance. This lighting complemented other unique features like living walls and gardens, which required specialized irrigation and lighting systems to foster plant growth and create inviting spaces.

The installation of podded rooms presented coordination challenges, resolved through extensive manufacturer meetings and service coordination.

This project exemplified precision in design and installation to meet client-specific demands. By overcoming coordination obstacles, we created a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally conscious office space for our client.
