Washington University I Chiller Plant at Snow Way Parking Garage

Introba provided engineering design services to install a new 700-ton electric centrifugal chiller, cooling tower, and associated auxiliary equipment in the Snow Way Parking Garage at Washington University. The new chiller and cooling tower provided sufficient additional capacity in the campus chilled water loop to serve the University’s planned residential building expansion at the northwest corner of the campus. The new chiller and cooling tower had variable-speed drives for maximum energy conservation.
