ST. LOUIS, MO – Introba announces that Christine (Christy) Cavataio joined the firm as Senior Vice President, USA, leading the firm’s operations in the United States. Christy’s responsibilities will include client delivery, business development, talent management, and performance. With over 500 engineering and consulting staff in seventeen offices throughout the US, Introba solves building and infrastructure challenges with innovative, sustainable, resilient engineering.
With more than thirty years of diverse experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction management industries, Christy has been a pioneer in healthcare, education, federal, commercial, corporate, and complex structure projects valued at more than $9 billion. Her portfolio includes renowned projects such as the World War II Memorial in Washington DC, The Hoover Dam Bridge, and the New Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). She has built a strong reputation in strategic business planning, client development, change management, organizational management, and program and project management. She has a natural ability to build collaborative teams that improve financial and operational performance while delivering successful solutions for clients. In her most recent prior employment as President and Chief Operating Officer, Christy helped to reposition an industry-leading design firm by increasing profitability and regrowing teams while championing successful equity and diversity programs.
With the future of the built environment focused on the convergence of technology and sustainability, Christy is excited to play a key role in the success of Introba. The convergence of two nationally recognized brands also represents a unique opportunity for the US practice to deliver an enhanced experience to clients, providing service offerings of greater depth and breadth with access to a network of global expertise.
“I was drawn to Introba by the depth of our talent, future-forward approach, and strength in regenerative and sustainable design, technology, and digital practice,” noted Christy. “The magic of Introba is that we can dream with our clients to position for the future while delivering high-quality solutions that satisfy today’s needs and evolve forward. I am inspired by the caliber of our team, our clients, and what we have accomplished as two firms. As Introba, our capabilities are even greater, and I look forward to what we will achieve next.”
Christy earned a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering with an emphasis in construction management from the University of Kansas.
